By using KroFly, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
KroFly is provided as-is for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to misuse, reverse-engineer, or modify the app or attempt to interfere with its functionality (e.g., disrupting ad services or navigation).
The app is intended to assist with general directional orientation and is not suitable for critical navigation, aviation, or emergency use.
KroFly uses your device's GPS location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION and ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION) to calculate bearing and distance to a selected target. This data is processed locally on your device and is never shared or transmitted to the developer.
Location data is only collected while the app is actively in use (foreground). The app does not collect any location data when it is in the background.
You are responsible for ensuring GPS accuracy and proper conditions for use (e.g., outdoors, clear signal).
KroFly includes banner and optional ads provided by Google AdMob. These are subject to Google’s Terms of Service.
This app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The developer makes no guarantees about accuracy, availability, or reliability. Use at your own risk.
The developer is not liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use or inability to use the app, including but not limited to location errors, data loss, or exposure to third-party content (e.g., ads).
The developer reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to KroFly for any user who violates these Terms or misuses the app.
These terms may be updated at any time. Updates will be posted on the KroFly website (https://cautiousdollop.github.io/krofly.html) or within the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
